Meredith Pardue | An Artist

a bowl full of simple

I always love when I come across something or someone new and exciting on the internet, typically through one of my favorite bloggers.  Artists are of particular appeal to me especially up and coming artists.  Thanks to websites like Etsy and Pinterest, encountering an artist you may not have ever found is becoming easier and more mainstream.  I had the unique opportunity a few years ago to meet Meredith Pardue at a gallery open house in San Francisco.  I admired her worked and jumped at the chance to see her in person at this small showing for Bryant Street Gallery.  Admiring artwork is taken to a whole new level when you meet and talk with the artist themselves.  I’m grateful for her taking time with me, talking with me about her process and inspirations.  It makes the pieces of hers in my home mean that much more.

  1. Hi Domonique,
I love this artist! I just contacted her to see if she does commissions and told her that I found her on your blog.
    Thanks!!

      1. Domonique, thank you so much for posting about my work! I am so glad we had the chance to meet and to talk the night of the opening in SF. I truly appreciate your kind words–thank you again.

And Carolyn, I hope you find the right piece for your collection…so glad to be in touch with you, too!
