Arranging Succulents
I bought this cement pot years ago filled with succulents. It lasted all summer and fall that year. While neglected throughout the winter, many of the plants still had life in them come spring. That’s when I discovered how easy it was to refresh the arrangement of succulents. Arranging succulents is easy to do. I’ve listed some tips below to help with all your arranging succulent needs.
Succulents are available most everywhere these days. They are a renewed trend I believe is going to be around awhile, especially here in California, where we’ve practically ceased having winters. Any garden center, nursery or even Trader Joe’s sells beautiful little pots of a variety of succulents. Many of the ones in this arrangement were picked up there recently.
Tips for Arranging Succulents
I like to mix up the shapes, sizes and textures for an eclectic look. If planted alone, it’s really stunning to use the same pot and the same varietal of plant in a series and placed in a line along a table, makes a great centerpiece. This potted arrangement lives on an outdoor coffee table much of the year. I always love the artistic look of this beauty with the white striped under-sides. If you haven’t given them a try yet, just be sure not to over water. Let me know what you think. Tag me @thesimpleproof
