Countertop Compost Bins
Does your town offer compost collection? Last spring, I grew fed up with the ugly green plastic countertop compost bin our local compost collection company offered. It was ugly and plastic and frankly, it smelled. I did a little web searching for a more stylish bin that I wouldn’t mind leaving on my counter. I chose this beautiful wooden box made from salvaged walnut with a stainless steel insert from a favorite source, provisions by Food52. It keeps odors away and seriously, who knew a countertop compost bin could look so artful and pretty. I’ve received countless complements and inquiries about it so figured it was time to do a little round up of stylish countertop bins.
