Happy Thanksgiving! Feeling all kinds of gratitude this Thanksgiving for dear friends, a loving family and a safe beautiful place to all home. Each year as a family, we put together baskets to bring Thanksgiving Dinner to 3 local families. It’s a small, but mighty gesture when life gets hard. Having the tough discussions with our children about those less fortunate is not always easy. No one wants to scare a child or cause worry when there is none. However, we don’t believe in keeping them in the dark about life’s inequities and tragedies either. Having them involved when and where we can will only make them more compassionate people. The world could certainly use more compassion these days. I wish you all a warm and sweet Thanksgiving with people that bring you joy. Thank you for joining me as I share our life in our little corner of the world with you. I am eternally grateful for every moment of your time you spend here.
