The Alameda Antiques Faire is an institution in the Bay Area. I was thrilled to get to go last Sunday. It was a gorgeous nearly 80 degree day in San Francisco, can you see the fantastic view of the San Francisco skyline Trans America building to the Bay Bridge. Awesome. I spent the morning with one of my favorite people, I saw all kinds of crazy stuff AND I got to come home with these:
I’d say it was a great day!
There truly is something for everyone here. And all kinds of things you’d never believe too.
This one says it is from the 1880s! If you are a lover of colored glass and jars, this is THE place to shop for it.
Vintage Wood Frames
Many many vintage chandeliers
Vintage costume jewelry
Vintage jewelry boxes and perfume bottles
Vintage and re-purposed textiles. From French linens + grain sacks to burlap + re-purposed pendeltons, the textiles were fantastic.
Mid-century modern table
Velvet + burlap wingbacks
These swivel chairs are just waiting for a new home + new cover! {you know you secretly want the pepsi sign too!}
I totally regret not grabbing this recently re-upholstered rad side chair!
Some crafty folks selling their beauties like these fun lighted signs, this cool old vine sculpture or my favorite – reclaimed wood shapes and signs. We should all wake up + be awesome!
I thought this was a fun tablesetting for thanksgiving {hiding is more grain sack too!}
And just in case you wanted a new plastic outdoor nativity scene + santa, they have that too!
Thank you for a great day Alameda. Cheers!
Do you still have the whole nativity set and for how much
Do you have the LOVE sign? How much?
