Casa Tota
We were so happy to have been recommended Casa Tota but a colleague of my husband’s. We arrived late in the evening tired from a big day on Isla Espíritu Santo and the drive across the peninsula. Having just had one of those not-so-funny-at-the-time-but-a-great-story-in-the-end travel mishaps, arriving at the lovely Casa Tota was exactly what we needed. After checking in and being escorted to two simple but modern rooms, mom and dad needed a margarita!
We had planned to just stay for a quick drink then walk around town to find something to eat, but decided that we’d stay at Casa Tota for dinner. We were so glad we did. We ended up having a great meal, strong margaritas and cold aqua frescas for the kids. After roughing it our on the island, we were all enjoying the comforts of restaurant service and heading off to sleep in a real bed!
In the morning, the sun was shining on the pool deck and birds were chirping away. We had a beautiful breakfast of fresh mango smoothies and breakfast burritos to start our day. Casa Tota is in the heart of town, walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes.

The Simple Proof loves Mexico. A trip to Todos Santos could be a stand alone destination or add it on to your time in Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo. Including a stay here with Isla Espírito Santo and you will have a really good sense for all the Baja California Sur has to offer!
