Cookie Decorating | Four Seasons Boston
Do you guys ever take advantage of the hotel sponsored activities? We have started to more and more and have found some fun ways to incorporate learning into our travel that cost us little to nothing. When we spent a few days at the Four Seasons Boston with the girls. I had read on their website prior to checking-in that they have cookie decorating classes for their younger guests. I knew my girls would love this idea.
They were escorted into the restaurant kitchen and each given a full chefs outfit including hats. The cookies were already prepared for them. All they needed to do was have fun decorating. It was exciting for them to be in a full-sized industrial kitchen and feel like they were real chefs.
In classic Four Seasons fashion, they really know how to welcome their younger guests which in turn makes for happier more relaxed adults. When the class was over, the girls left their cookies there and we went out for the evening. Upon returning, the hotel staff had delivered their cookies on plates with a glass of milk for each of them to accompany our turn down service.
Such a sweet treat. Love that some hotels offer these types of activities. We have taken advantage of a few during our travels. They have loved kids crafts in Mexico and fishing in Hawaii. We’ve also enjoyed releasing turtles, doing a night hike in the rainforest and attending a tortilla making class.
