Happy Weekend!
We have been traveling in Costa Rica this past week. What a beautiful country and such beautiful warm people. The kids are being troopers. They have been soaking up all the salt water, waves, guacamole, and mangos they can get their hands on! You can follow along as I share tidbits on instagram. The full report to come upon our return. But for now, Pura Vida!
Costa Rica Travel Update:
These posts are some of our most requested of all time. Seems many of you would love to spend some time exploring all Costa Rica has to offer. It really is the perfect first “adventure” trip for families. It can be accessed easily from both the east and west coast of the U.S. often with direct flights. A note about flights: since first writing about our time in Costa Rica flights have become even more accessible. If you are traveling to the northern areas and beaches you may want to consider flying into Liberia instead of San Jose. Also, we found many people added on to their travels in the area by extending their trip to include time in southern Nicaragua which we also highly recommend.
Also, the area around Nosara has become much more popular. It’s still nothing like the crowded areas near Tamarindo. But we recommend making reservations as far in advance as you can. Nosara and The Harmony Hotel are gems.
