As I was pulling together ideas for this post on Football Season, I came across this month’s Martha Stewart Living in which there is an article on tailgating, the upscale way! Check out the bar in the back of this truck bed. Great! huh?! While I have never attended a tailgate that looks like this, I do love the idea of a well stocked bar. Especially ones that serve up a Spicy Bloody Mary with green beans. This Bloody Mary spread has just about anything and everything you can think of. That is except the bacon.
Here’s one with BACON!
Bloody Marys always make me digress. Here is a list of my favorite football season eats. Whether you are tailgating or watching the game at home, these are sure to score.

I made these ribs at least 4 times this summer. A simple recipe that is easily multiplied.
This is such a fun take on the traditional seven layer dip. Individual mini seven layer bean dip. It’s perfect for a party, no double dipping!

Pulled Pork is my hubby’s favorite. The best part about these is how easy they are to make ahead in the crock pot. Simmer all night for those early games or all morning for the afternoon games. Either way you will be ready for a hungry crowd.
Nachos can be made any which way you like them. My kids have been on a nacho kick since trying out a supreme version at a Giants game this summer. Definitely a crowd pleaser!
Hope your teams do well this weekend.
Unless of course they are playing mine!
