How can one little person have so many parties?! And it was only #3. She must be one loved little girl. And this momma has become quite a baker. From mini cupcakes for her preschool class to layered chocolate cake for our family party. There were a lot of sprinkles to be had! {Confession: I have a thing for collecting cake sprinkles, lip gloss + throw blankets.}
Another confession. Because I’m a simple gal, these were each baked with Pilsbury Cake Mix. I did try something new I found on pinterest though. Have you seen this pin on how to make a box mix taste more like homemade? They turned out great. Between the pudding Pilsbury adds to their mixes and the substitutions recommended in this pin, the cakes were perfectly rich and yummy without the overly sugary taste of some bakery cakes. Try it! you’ll like it!
