I’ve been coming to San Francisco since 1990 and have lived here since 1994. It’s been my home for more than twenty years. I love sharing my current favorites with friends and family whether they are locals up for an adventure or just visiting the city that has my heart.

Ferry Building – Local farm fresh food, farmer’s market and ferry terminal
Rent bikes in Golden Gate Park – Picnics, art, music, flowers, history
Filbert Street Steps – Secluded steps + local knowledge lead you to Coit Tower
Afternoon Tea – The Palace Hotel High Tea tradition dates back to the early 1900’s
Walk the Golden Gate Bridge – walk or bike the bridge for endless views of the bay
SF Giants Game – Catch a game watching World Series Champs at the beautiful AT&T park.
De Young Museum – In the heart of Golden Gate Park and across from the Academy of Sciences, you won’t want to miss this collection even if you only visit the Hamon Observation Tower (it’s free) for the views.
Muir Woods – A short drive over the Golden Gate Bridge and along the breathtaking coast you will find yourself amongst some of the oldest and tallest redwood trees in California. You can take a short walk through Cathedral Grove or the more adventurous can hike all the way to Stinson Beach.
Ferry to Angel Island State Park – hike or bike one of California’s most scenic State Parks.
Baker Beach – A great outing no matter the weather with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands.
Crissy Field – Miles of beaches and walking trails along the bay as part of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy on the edge of The Presidio.
Dolores Park – The SF park with the best views of downtown and the best slides in the city!
Hudson Grace – Beautiful housewares on charming Sacramento Street
Heidi Says – A trio of stores featuring women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories on Fillmore Street
The Ark – A favorite toy store that really looks like the inside of The Ark!
Mill Mercantile – Sister store to Unionmade with equally well curated women’s clothing + accessories plus gorgeous home goods + products you’ll love in Noe Valley
Green Apple Books – THE best bookstore in SF for new + used books in the Inner Richmond
Maker + Moss – I would actually consider moving into this store, in Hayes Valley of course where everything tasty + pretty has come to live in the past 10 years.
Unionmade – Well curated collection of men’s clothing + accessories on the Castro/Mission border
