The first weekend of summer 2013 took us to Santa Cruz, CA. We were there to celebrate my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. The weather was ideal and fun was had all around. Thank you M+S!
My 9 year old had a great time out in the surf with his cousins and uncle catching waves in Capitola. While the girls and I watched from the shore.
The next day, while others were golfing, we took our kiddos to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It was a feast for my senses. The sights, the sounds, the smells, all the colors and sunshine. I couldn’t resist capturing as much as possible with my camera. The kids had a blast. The rides were a hit, but truly I think the cotton candy, hot dogs, chocolate dipped ice creams and salt water taffy were what they enjoyed most. How often do mom and dad say yes to those all in one day!?
